《万岁通天帖》的名称始于宋代岳珂。唐摹《王羲之一门书翰》十卷二十八人书,在唐代称为《宝章集》。原本久已亡佚,因此岳珂着《宝真斋法书赞》卷七著录,称残存的七人十帖连尾款的一卷为《万岁通天帖》。
藏于辽宁省博物馆的《万岁通天帖》前后钤有唐宋间诸旧藏印。《万岁通天帖》上有北宋“史馆新铸之印”朱文方印、“颖川祯”朱文半印、“居仁文府”白文印、“临濮侯裔世家”白文方印、“种杏轩”白文方印、南宋“绍”“兴”朱文连珠印。元“王芝”朱文长方印、“王芝”白文椭圆印、“王芝私印”白文方印、华幼武“春草堂审定记”等印。 |

《万岁通天帖》现仅存王羲之等七人十通书翰。《万岁通天帖》摹本藏北宋建隆史馆,历经北宋宣和内府,南宋绍兴内府,及韩庄敏家。又为岳珂收藏,并著录于《宝真斋法书赞》;元代曾为王芝、岳飞五世孙岳浚、张雨、无锡华幼武秘藏,明代传至华幼武后裔华夏,藏于真赏斋清代入清内府收藏;1922年溥仪携往长春,1954年收藏于辽宁省博物馆。
意义:唐摹《万岁通天帖》以其忠于原作风貌,为人们提供了研究二王以及东晋至六朝书法的可靠依据。《万岁通天帖》包含着深厚历史与艺术价值。
